Mary Lou Barovich

Financial Services Manager

Mary Lou is responsible for the accounting operations of MDL Group as their Financial Services Manager and a valued member of MDL Group since 2001.

Mary Lou’s career spans 35 years plus of experience in various accounting and management arenas including expertise in auditing and prosecuting consumer fraud and white collar crimes, payroll and human resources benefits, grievances and resolutions. Mary Lou assisted in the administration of a corporate pension plan, including distributions, reconciliations, funding and was the Corporate ERISA statement investment manager. Prior employment experience included administrator/controller of a large surgical group, assistant controller for a developer and paralegal investigator for a District Attorney’s office.

At MDL, Mary Lou works closely with property owners and with the property management team to provide financial records and projections of income and expenses which reflect the current financial environment. Mary Lou strives for the most accurate forecast with her pulse on current events and knowledge of the property management arena.

Mary Lou attended Southern Colorado College, Pueblo Junior College and Community College of Southern Nevada.

She received an Executive Certificate in Leadership Management, as well as Certificates of Achievement in Effective Leadership, Leading Teams and Organizations and Executive Leadership Strategies from the University of Notre Dame.
