2024 was an extraordinary year of giving back at MDL Group. Alongside our business achievements and milestones, we made significant contributions to local causes. Our dedicated Fun Committee spearheaded these initiatives, organizing giving back opportunities and fun activities throughout the year. Their efforts included team-building events, spirit days, bingo nights, potlucks, and various charitable endeavors—all of which fostered a strong sense of camaraderie and goodwill within our company.
One of our most popular fundraisers is our “Casual for a Cause” Friday dress down days. Throughout the year, employees pay a $2 fee to the charitable fund for the right to wear jeans to work each Friday. We also hold Snack Sales in the company café—always a popular attraction!
In all, we raised nearly $2,800 that was used to support numerous charities during the Christmas/Holiday season. We proudly supported organizations such as the Police Athletic League, Retriever Rescue of Las Vegas, Shade Tree Domestic Violence Shelter & Resource Center, and the CCIM Institute’s Holiday Drive for John S. Park Elementary School.
In addition to supporting these groups at the holidays, our dedicated MDL team members contributed to a number of other local charities and organizations throughout the past year, including:
- Vitalant Blood Drives
- A back-to-school supplies drive for CREW Las Vegas and NAIOP (the commercial real estate development association)
- The Southern Nevada Veterans Home in Boulder City
- Nevada Department of Veterans Services
- Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada
- SafeNest domestic violence shelter
- American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
- Miracle Flights
- The Alzheimer’s Association
- A Home 4 Spot animal rescue
- Sneaker Impact
This year we also participated in a special project—Nathan Mizrachi’s Mitzvah project. We helped Nathan fill 56 boxes with more than 3,800 books and raise more than $2,700 for Spread the Word Nevada, a non-profit dedicated to advancing childhood literacy.

Their enthusiasm, energy, and commitment not only help those in need, but help to make MDL a great place to work!
