Carol Cline-Ong, MDL Group Co-Founder, recently announced her retirement, effective October 1st. To honor this significant milestone, over 150 people from various phases of Carol’s career were in attendance at her retirement celebration held at Cili at Bali Hai.
The event was a heartfelt tribute to Carol’s impressive career. Her professional mentors, those she mentored, colleagues from various professional and charitable organizations she’s served, industry association leaders, co-workers, employees, friends and family came together to celebrate her numerous achievements and well-deserved reputation as a role model, mentor, and accomplished businesswoman.
Hayim Mizrachi, CEO, Broker and Principal at MDL, explained that Carol’s influence extends well beyond her business acumen and professional affiliations. “Carol is an extraordinary leader. She has this incredible way of seeing people’s potential, even when they can’t see it themselves,” he stated. “She’s built an environment where people are supported and encouraged to go after what they’re capable of—not just what’s expected of them. It is truly remarkable.”
In 1989, Carol co-founded MDL Group alongside Curt Anderson. Throughout the years, she transformed MDL into a beacon of excellence and innovation, solidifying her status as a pivotal figure in the dynamic Las Vegas commercial real estate landscape. Carol’s unparalleled legacy of service and trust is showcased by her numerous accomplishments, including her recognition as BOMA Nevada’s Leadership Award recipient in 2017, as a GlobeSt Women of Influence Honoree in 2021, and as winner of the Vegas Inc. Career Milestone Lifetime Achievement Award for Real Estate in 2022. Her contributions and leadership have left an indelible mark on the industry.
Beyond her work at MDL, Carol has significantly contributed to the commercial real estate industry by serving on the boards of various industry associations like BOMA, CCIM and CREW. She has also made a lasting impact on the local community through her support of numerous charitable organizations, including Boy Scouts of America (Troop 256), the Police Athletic League (PAL), Opportunity Village, the 911 Help America Foundation, Three Square Food Bank, Sunrise Children’s Hospital, Susan G. Komen, Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, Safe Nest, The Animal Foundation, Shade Tree, Spread The Word Nevada, Shop with a Cop, Babies Bounty and Toys 4 Smiles.
Carol’s legacy will continue to influence the industry and the countless individuals she has mentored and supported. Her guidance and wisdom will resonate through the careers of those she has inspired.
