After 36 years of building our values-based company in Las Vegas, MDL Group enters the Salt Lake Valley!
We are now managing 456,066 square feet of retail, office, and industrial properties in the Salt Lake Valley and surrounding communities. This expansion was over a decade in the making. Except we didn’t know it at the time.
In 2014, when Aggie Knoblock, a Director of Property Management from a prominent developer in Las Vegas retired, she referred her longtime client, Del Mar Partnership Inc. to MDL Group. Starting with three properties initially, by 2022 we were managing their entire eight-property portfolio in Las Vegas.
Trust doesn’t happen overnight. It builds over time through consistency, transparency, and results. And during challenging moments and hard conversations, relationships endure to create the strongest bonds. So when Del Mar gave us the opportunity to manage their Utah portfolio, it wasn’t just business growth, it was a natural extension of a decade-long partnership built on trust.

Meeting the Moment and Establishing Roots
During an initial visit to Utah, it was clear to MDL Group’s Vice President of Operations, Desiree, and Principals, Hayim and Jarrad, that expansion made sense. The region’s economic growth, the strong sense of community, and the alignment with MDL’s values all signaled green lights. The next step was critical, finding the right professional who would understand the expectations of our client, and who also aligned with the MDL way.
Enter Courtney Yuhas as MDL’s first Senior Property Manager in Utah! With a foundation in accounting and more than 15 years in property management, Courtney has managed office, industrial, and retail portfolios for some of the region’s most respected firms, including Newmark, The Boyer Company, Unico Properties, and Bridge Commercial Real Estate. She brings a proven track record of operational excellence and deep market knowledge of the Salt Lake region.
Expanding into a new market takes more than expertise, it takes local presence. Having a team on the ground means we can respond quickly, understand the nuances of the community, and build lasting relationships. Local knowledge, paired with MDL’s culture and systems, allows us to deliver the same proactive, people-first service our clients have grown to rely on for nearly four decades.
To help MDL grow its presence in Utah, Aaron Silverman serves as Investment Advisor head of business development. His focus includes expanding MDL’s client base, developing investment opportunities that drive client success, and creating strategic industry partnerships. Beginning his career as an investment specialist with Marcus & Millichap, he expanded his business acumen throughout sales, marketing, business development, communications and client strategy across hospitality, advertising, technology, and higher education.
Hayim Mizrachi is MDL’s CEO, Principal, and Utah Principal Broker. He leads the strategic direction of the company, works with the leadership team to oversee operations across all divisions, and ensures the delivery of exceptional property management and brokerage services. Along with overseeing over 200 brokerage transactions per year, Hayim is committed to uplifting the real estate community and has served as President of CORFAC International and Chapter President of NAIOP Southern Nevada, where he was recognized as National NAIOP President of the Year and NAIOP Southern Nevada was also named NAIOP National Chapter of the Year during his presidency.
Together, Courtney, Aaron and Hayim bring MDL’s culture of professionalism, responsiveness, pride of ownership, and a people-first approach into Utah.
